Skip those annoying outgoing cell phone voicemail messages!

We don’t know about you, but it is annoying to have to listen to those long outgoing message when you just want to leave a message and be done! Now you don’t have to!!

When the automated part of the message starts, do the following:

For T-Mobile and Nextel --- hit the # key.

For AT&T wireless and Verizon wireless --- hit the * key

For Sprint --- hit the number 1 key.

From any phone!

Did you know you don’t have to type www. OR .com into your browser when you are entering a website name? Just type in the website name and hold down the CTRL key and hit enter.

Make tracking packages simple.

To track a UPS, USPS, or FEDX package just type the tracking number into Google search box and hit enter!

Quick weather search.

Want to find the weather anywhere easily? Type into Google search box “weather” and then either the zip code or the city and state. There it is!

Just painted and you hate that paint smell?

Put a pan of vinegar on the stove and let it simmer. It will take out many other smells as well.

Your candlelit evening made a waxy mess on your carpet?

Use a brown paper bag as a blotter and place over wax and run hot iron over it. The bag will absorb the wax.

Stains in your dishwasher?

Add Tang in the detergent cups and run a normal cycle. Makes most dishwashers clean as new.

Dry more clothes.

Cut those dryer sheets in half. It works just as well as a whole one.

Oooh, those tiny papercuts!!

Rub chapstick on the cut and it stops the pain immediately and help heal it faster.

Ants a problem?

Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They can’t digest it and they will die. It may take a week or so, but it is child and pet safe.

Mosquitoes bugging you?

Stick a dryer sheet in your pocket and keep them away.

Stubborn black shoe marks on your floor?

Remove them with lighter fluid or a pencil eraser.

Keep your drains running free!

Pour boiling water down the drain once a week will help prevent any build up.

Ink on your beautiful leather furniture is not so beautiful!

Rub cuticle remover into the leather with soft cloth to remove the ink.

Inexpensive and non toxic weed killer.

White vinegar will kill weeds and is better for you and the environment.

Add one cup of peroxide to your load of whites instead of bleach.
